1Scope

These terms apply to the Game and the related services we provide, including this website. How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.

2Who may use the Game

You must be 13 or older. If you are a minor, please use the Game with the consent of a parent or guardian.

3Account (user ID)

You can play without registering. When you first launch the Game, an anonymous user ID is created for your device and your progress is saved.

If you delete the app, you are treated as a new player and cannot carry over earlier data. We are not responsible for restoring data lost through device failure, a device change or similar.

4Rights

Rights in the Game’s programs, images, sounds and text belong to us or to the rightful holders. These terms do not transfer those rights to you.

The ukiyo-e in the in-game collection are public-domain works. Rights in how we select them, our explanatory notes, and how they are presented on screen belong to us.

You may not copy, republish, distribute or sell the Game’s materials without our permission.

5Leaderboards, ghosts and names

The World Race (Hell Screen) leaderboards show the name you chose, the rider you used and your score. Your run may be replayed as a ghost for other players.

You may not use a name that is offensive, that impersonates someone, or that contains personal information. We may change or remove inappropriate names and records without notice.

6Paid features and ads

We may show ads or offer paid items in the Game. If we do, the details and prices will be shown on screen before you buy.

Purchases, payment and refunds for paid features are governed by the terms and procedures of Apple or Google.

7Prohibited acts

You may not:

• modify or reverse engineer the Game, or use unauthorised tools or scripts
• manipulate leaderboard records or ghosts
• place excessive load on our servers or networks, or interfere with the service
• impersonate or harass other players
• break the law or public order and morals
• use the Game’s materials without our permission

If we find a prohibited act, we may take measures such as deleting records or suspending use.

8Changes, suspension and end of service

We may change the Game’s content without notice. We may also suspend the service temporarily, or end it, for maintenance, faults or other reasons. If we end it, we will give notice in advance where we can.

9Disclaimer

We do not guarantee that the Game will run on every device without interruption or errors. Depending on your connection and device, leaderboards or saves may not be reflected.

Except where caused by our intent or gross negligence, we are not liable for damage arising from use of the Game. Where the Consumer Contract Act or other laws make us liable, we are liable to that extent.

10Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan.

For any dispute between us and you about the Game, the district court with jurisdiction over our head office is the exclusive court of first instance.

11Changes to these terms

We may change these terms when necessary. The changed terms take effect when posted on this page. If you keep using the Game after a change, you are deemed to have agreed to it.
